About
Dr Kasra (Kas) Raufian is a General Surgeon with special interests in hernia surgery, breast surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and laparoscopic operations. He completed his medical training in Iran (MD, 2006), obtained his General Surgery Board Certificate (2013), and worked as a consultant surgeon before relocating to Australia in 2016.
In Australia, he undertook additional postgraduate and advanced surgical training including Breast/Endocrine & Melanoma Surgery and advanced Laparoscopic and Hernia surgery training. He achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2019 and has worked as a Consultant General Surgeon in the Metro North region.
Dr Raufian is known for a professional but friendly approach, working collaboratively with patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
